M-Tech R&D laboratories have developed a new kind of leather called NKP, a contraction that stands for "No Kangaroo Please". Thanks to new specific tanning technologies which were tested, perfected and implemented in M-Tech's research center, it has been possible to obtain a product with tear and abrasion resistance never seen before in a full grain cow leather. At the same time, NKP's lightness and low thickness guarantee a level of comfort beyond your wildest dreams. Comfort and high performances, that's what NKP is all about. REFRACTION
M-TECH moves forward with a fresh solution for riders with a preference for black. "Refraction", as its name indicates, repels part of the solar rays.
It is quite different to wear a white sweater in the summer as opposed to a black one, because colors absorb light in a different way: a white surface absorbs only 10% of the light, while a black surface absorbs 90%.
The "Refraction" technology, developed in the M-Tech R&D center, reflects the heat generated by the solar rays, reducing the surface temperature of the leather exposed to the sun by 10 degrees or more, compared to normal black leather garments, when they reach a temperature of 40 degrees or more. Leathers treated with M-Tech "Refraction" will absorb less heat and will be more comfortable to wear even in torrid summer days. MASTROTECH
